An Irish Dinner Tradition

"What are you doing for St. Patrick's Day" people ask.  And my reply normally is "Preparing for an Irish Dinner with Friends an Family"!  This year was no different.  I made myself some Irish Stew, and continued to prep for Sunday Dinner with friends and family!  And what a serious pig out it was!

I was so busy, I didn't get a chance to take all the pictures that I wanted.  But the ones that I did, I'll upload tonight!

Here was the basic Menu:

Irish Traditional & American-Irish Dishes

Irish "Bacon"
Corned Beef
Meaty Cabbage & Carrots
Veggie Cabbage & Carrots*
Champ*
Mashed Yellow Potatoes
Green Salad with Apples and Roasted Pecans*
Roasted Root Vegetables*
Irish Soda Bread
3x Guinness Bangers
Irish Cheese & Crackers
"Murphy" Mustard (with Guinness!)
Mini Apple Galettes

Assorted Beer & Whiskey

Anything with a * was made to Vegetarian Standards.  No Meat Broth (veggi broth) nor meaty utensils used!

Again, pictures to follow soon!

Thanks everyone for coming out and enjoying our little Dinner!!
